selecting multiple emails

Is there a way to select multiple emails in oder to delete instead of selecting each one to delete?

Yes, if you are deleting adjacent emails, scroll to the first one, and then hold downt he lower left SHIFT key and scroll down or up to select more to delete. Then press the delete key.

Or, from any date bar header, select Menu > Delete Prior, to clear all previous emails.

Re: selecting multiple emails

Good day,

My 'old' BB allowed me to pick a date in my email box (hub for the Q10 that I have now) and hit menu to find "Delete Previous".  Any way to do that with the Q10?  Our I.T. loaded months of emails and I want to delete all but the most recent.

Thanks in advance.

Bruce

Yes, much the same.

On the Q10 in the Hub, touch and hold the thin date bar separator... you will not see it highlighted, but you will get the right side popup, and at the bottom, the trashcan which should read "Delete Prior".

And note, this will delete the emails from your device AND the server.
