Please clarify, with details, exactly what you desire to do and exactly what your issues are. From your post, I conclude conflicting things: 1) you cannot install add-on apps, but you did not provide any hint of what happens when you try (e.g., error messages, etc.)
2) Your BB is not working at all...which would of course preclude installing any add-on apps...so that's a bit of a conflict.
