syn outlook contact fail

 

 

BB 9790 OS 7.1, desktop software

 

 

Unable to complete syn outlook contact 

 

Syn start well at begining, 

 1) Reading from outlook

 2) Converting

 3) Preview

 

A message popped

    "Changes will be made to your organizer data…"

 

After click "YES", syn start running... however, it always stuck and hang at this step 

 

    "Synchronizing … Progressing… updateing BB address book data" 

 

then data never moved and just hanging and stop on screen.

 

No improvement even I reinstalling desktop software and update 9790... 

 

Any idea how to get syn done?

Please confirm that you have disabled Wireless sync. To do that follow below steps -

 

BlackBerry 6.0 and BlackBerry 7.1:

  1. On the BlackBerry smartphone, open an organizer data application (for example, the contact list)
  2. Press the Menu key and click Options
  3. Under Contact Lists, select the default contact list used for synchronization
  4. Disable Wireless Synchronization by clicking the check box
  5. Press the Menu key and click Save
  6. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each organizer data application that you want to synchronize through a wired connection
