trying to send a message to the community corner support

Hi, I'm trying to send a message but the button "new message" doesn't activate for me to write my message. What should I do?

Please use plain text.

Re: trying to send a message to the community corner support (red light flashing)

I have bought a blackberry Bold 9900 in november 2011 in Curaçao at the provider UTS.

About 2 weeks ago on thursdday evening I charged my blackberry as usual but the next morning I noticed that it flashes a red ligth en did not turn on any longer. I replace the battery but it keeped doing the same.

I had a warranty at the provider for only three (3) months. Can you tell me what I should do? I don't want to loose my contacts especially my pics.

Please use plain text.

Re: trying to send a message to the community corner support (red light flashing)

  • Do you have a backup made using the BlackBerry Desktop Software or have BlackBerry Protect installed?
  • If you reload the operating system to the device, you're likely to lose your contacts and pictures on your device memory, those on your media card should be ok.
  • You have a one year warranty. UTS should honor that.

Re: trying to send a message to the community corner support (red light flashing)

My device did not have a media card but I had Blackberry Protect installed on it.

I shall tell UTS otherwise about the warranty period.

Protect would not have backed up your pictures, but it does your contacts, calendar, memos, tasks, SMS, and other things.
