uncaught exception: Applicationregistry.waitFor(0x7c802477365c3985)timeout

Hi,

For the last three months I have a problem with my blackberry.

Nothing is working anymore. No music, texting or even something simple as making a call. My Blackberry keeps giving me the following error message: uncaught exception: Applicationregistry.waitFor(0x7c802477365c3985)timeout.

I have found a sollution on the forums but its only for PC (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Storm/Multiple-Error-Messages-phone-won-t-work/td-... but i was wondering if there is a sollution for this problem on a Macbook Pro.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

I am on a PC but cannot do a clean reload. When I go to view available versions and click install (for either the current version or the recommended version), it cannot because the application loader could not connect to my device. Any advice?

Re: uncaught exception: Applicationregistry.waitFor(0x7c802477365c3985)timeout

Hi,

I repaired the device by following your instructions.

I reinserted my memory card(16GB) then I get this following:  Media Card Storage can not be accessed due to fatal errors

I think those fatal errors are from the virus, I left my media card running while nothing was working due to the "uncaught exception"  then I removed it when I knew that uncaught exception: Applicationregistry.waitFor(0x7c802477365c3985)timeout was a kind of virus.

Is there any sollution to fix my media card on MacBook Pro ?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Hi PaulNodin

Please Format your media card and then have a try , you can also try with a new  good quality Media card to see if that helps.

And also there are no known Viruses which can affect your BlackBerry Device till now. Basicially that error Fatal error  is related to Card reader module within our device .

Hi pmangold

If BlackBerry Desktop Software is not allowing you to Relaod the device Software then try Loader.exe to load the OS on your device.Look at this Knowledge base :

KB29847 : BlackBerry Desktop Software is not required to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Smartphone.

Please try it and let us know.
