unidentified subscriber problem

Hi everyone,

my bold 9930 was working well yesterday until i had to take out the battery to ensure the phone stayed off. when i placed the battery back in an hour later and tried to send a text message i got a X the underneath it said unidentified subscriber.i can still receive text message,send and recieve calls,just can't send any messages, any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Something is wonky with your mobile voice/SMS connection.

Are you receiving and sending emails ok?

On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status.
What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?


My first suggestion, remove the battery and SIM card a minute, replace and see if it persists.
