Hi, I recently purchesed a bold 9790 and my data usage is really high when I am not using my phone.  I've tried turning off all my autoupdates....facebook, weather apps for example.... but once an hour on the hour my phone is using .02 MB of data.  Any ideas what it could be?

Hi and Welcome to the Community...and apologies for the delayed reply...hopefully you already have this answered, but just in case.

BBs are constantly doing "things", and many of those things involve data traffic to/from various entities. To function properly, they quite simply must do these things. Sadly, I don't know of an app that will monitor data usage specifically and tell you what is using it, but maybe there is one out there...you should search in AppWorld.

Otherwise, you could try actually removing apps one at a time until the behavior ceases...then, the last one you removed would be your culprit.
