BlackBerry Curve - BlackBerry 8300 Series Smartphone

I have a friend with the Storm and his BBM shows music that he is listening to, he showed me how he set his BBM to do that but I dont have that option.  Is it something just for the storm?

He went under his BBM, his profile and set it there.

I do have the updated version  I have the BB Curve though.. would that make a difference?

It should work as long as you have installed the latest version of BBM (5.0)

I don't have the option though?!  He went to his profile on his BBM and it was under the status.  I don't see anywhere to mark show music playing.

What version of BBM are you running. Check in Options>Advanced Options>Applications.

If it is 5.0.x.xx, then in BBM press menu and go to "options". In there, make sure "Display Music Updates From Contacts" is checked.

I have 5.0.0.33 installed.  I just checked it, I will see if that works.  Is there anyway I can check it or does someone else need to check it on their BB?

So, you checked that options... now what is not working?

It will not give me the option to show my music.  I check to show contacts music.  Maybe it isnt available for the Curve.
