BlackBerry Curve - BlackBerry 8900 Series Smartphone

I have just got a new blackberry 8900 curve as my last phonebroke.
When i first got my old 8900 in the downloads box on my menu i already had facebook and msn messenger etc in there but i needed to download the programs still, but also there was a blackberry help in there aswell that sent me to blackberry page where i could download the new bb messenger. Now i have this new phone none of them things are in there and i have downloaded facebook but it wont work sayin cant connect due to data and i dont know how to download the newest version of bb messenger.

any ideas on how to solve this?

i can go on facebook on the browser but i need the application to upload photos etc.

any help would be appreciated.

use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install the Messenger application again.

After installation and possibly another reboot, check your Instant Messaging Folder, or Downloads folder for the application.
