Two part question:
1) Can the 8900 automatically scan for open Wi-Fi spots and show them in the Wi-Fi options? I see the "Scan For Networks" option in setup... but it looks like a maual operation.
2) If it can scan, can it also automatically join a network?
Thx!

You need to scan manually the first time and add the conection to your device
2) If it can scan, can it also automatically join a network?
If you have saved a Wifi connection on your device (for example your home), and the wifi is turned on, the next time you are in range with the Network the device is connected automatically.
If I help you with any inquire, thank you for click kudos in my post.
