Hi!
My request would be somewhat not ordinary, but I have nowhere else to turn, because I live in Russia ... :-(
Saw the phone BB Curve 8900 and fell in love. Ordered through e-bay. They sent, but only for T-mobil.
One "very intelligent" people advised to enter 10 times Network Mep code, which I did. :-(
How can I be? T-mobil we do not.
P.S. Sorry for my English.

Roman.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If I understand you correctly, the "very intelligent" people you trusted gave you very bad information. After attempting (and failing) to enter the proper unlock code 10 times, the device is permanently locked to the original carrier, and cannot be unlocked. What you needed was the proper unlock code (which can be purchased) and to have entered that...doing so would have unlocked the BB from TMobile, allowing you to put a different carriers SIM into it and use it. Now you cannot do that. And there is no fix that I know of.
Sorry.
If you are the original poster (OP) and your issue is solved, please remember to click the "Accept as Solution" button so that others can more easily find it. Oh...and FWIW...I am not a RIM employee...and these forums are user-to-user...not user-to-RIM.
