1 Red Light followed by 3 flashing red lights unable to turn on blackberry

My curve randomly turned itself off the other day. I went to power it back on with no luck. I decided to charge it and was still unable to turn it on. There is a flashing red light, 1 flash followed by 3 flashes. If anyone has any idea where to start with this or what the problem could be PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance!

did you ever find out how to fix this? i have 2 slow flashing red lights, followed by 4 fast. I'm not super savvy but have done alot of reading. not alot of info has been very helpful. I'm interested if you managed to fix it.
