Bought my Curve 3G 9300 today, and have had no 3G connection! It is literally not there. There is no 3G symbol in the top right corner as there has been in pictures. Does this mean that my handset is faulty?
Please please help!

Can you verify that your connections are enabled in your Manage Connections icon? There should be a checkmark next to Mobile Network. Do you have a data plan with your wireless provider? What signal is displaying on your BlackBerry? (3g, EDGE, edge, GSM...) The 3G signal is dependent on your connection with your wireless provider. I would advise contacting them for more information.
