8 gb cards?

I replaced the 1gb card with a new SansDisc 8 gb card but the phone only recognizes up to 3.6 avail. disk space.  Am I maxed out at 3.6 or do my phone settings need to be tweaked to get all 8 gigs out of this new memory card?

Re: 8 gb cards?

that is all you can have recognizable and usable with OS 4.2 (I read your other thread).

Read this link for what OS version support which size cards... http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB05461&sliceId=SAL_Pub...
