Re: 8310 problems

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner:

With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescirbed for most gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

After reboot, 1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc.
If you still don't see it, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed there?

Re: 8310 problems

For the spinning clock?

Check the File Free at Options > Status, what is the number at File Free?

Look at Options > Security > Memory Cleaner. If that is enabled, please disable it and don't enable it ever again.

For the app.. keep looking. Try the other folders.

Did you do the reboot as I described?

Re: 8310 problems

Good, you should stop seeing the processor-busy clock.

For the app, I'd suggest downloading and installing it again.

What is the app?

Well, that's easy.

There's NO virus for the BlackBerry, never has been, and isn't yet, so there's there is NO need for an anti-virus. Right? Yep.

So, my advice, delete Kapersky, you don't need it. And just so you know, they can't create an anti-virus without first having a virus to "anti-". That's the way it works.

Re: 8310 problems

Oh ok, I discussed that above...Options > Advanced > Applications.

You just scroll to the app (don't click on it) and press Menu > Delete.
