8320 curve support 8gig sdhc?

i have bb 8320 curve smartphone (edge) v4.5.0.81 (platform 2.7.0.78)

i only see that it mite only support memory chip SD, therefore it would only be 4gig to support.

i want the 8 gig which is a SDHC - will this work in my phone?

Welcome to the forums nonyanon :smileyhappy:

This KB article explains which cards are supported by which OS: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB05461

Please see the article linked above...it has what you need. SDHC versus plain SD is a matter of capacity, and your OS can take up to a certain capacity (per the linked article).

Sorry, haven't been able to post back since I was busy all day. Yeah, so what sdgardne said is right...the sd or sdhc isn't important as long as it is a micro SD or SDHC card. The OS needs to be able to handle the capacity of the media card and the link gives you the maximum supported size...thanks for taking over sdgardne :smileyhappy:
