Tried this twice on my MacBook Pro and it didn't work. Also it is time consuming. The solution is Missing Sync which also allows you to sync via Bluetooth. Yes it costs $39.95 but when you consider the wasted time because Blackberry doesn't fully accommodate Mac users this is the real solution... Hmmmm... makes the iPhone a little more attractive doesn't it?
What solved it all for me was, after talking with Blackberry Tech help, launch iSync, go to preferences, and make sure "Enable Syncing on This Computer" is checked. Sounds simple, but it took 4 hours with BB and 2 hours with Apple to figure it out. After that, Desktop Mgr works as advertized.
