 I could have sworn this had a zoom function on the camera  but now can't find it, thought it was on the ball. what i'm i doing wrong?

Also have sprint and they tell me no picture mail is that true?  Have to attach to a email to send?

1. Yes, the camera a zoom, just scroll the trackball up or down to adjust it. If it is NOT, perhaps you could use a reset.

 With the BB powered on, remove the battery a few seconds, reinsert and reboot. Retry the camera > zooooooom.

2. Sprint does offer MMS (a media file attached to a Text messages. You can email it though. Compose an email and click the menu to attach a file. OR, find the picture, and click the menu to Send to a recipient.
