Since I have upgraded from Windows Vista Ultimate x64 to Windows 7 Ultimate x64 my 8330 will no longer charge through the USB port.
I have disabled the power management through device manager for the USB root hubs with no change in behavior.
It still works fine with my XP/Vista boxes but not with Windows 7. Does anybody have any ideas?
*edit*
I should also mention that the charging icon does show, but it is not charging, as the battery was almost dead this morning after being plugged in for over 9 hrs.
Thanks,
Jason

Strange... I have not seen that where the on-device charging icon appears but the device does not charge.
Can you try a wall outlet charger to see if it works?

It works with a wall charger, it works with the usb charger, just not with my newly upgraded Win7 box.

Windows 7 is due out for release Oct 22nd. Doubt if many on this forum is using Win7 yet but after upgrading to Win7, are you certain the USB port on your PC works at all. Try another device (camera, mp3 player) that needs charging.
Check to see if your USB ports even works. If it is check to see if power being provided is sufficient to both run the device and charge the device. These would all be Win7 anomalies.
