8530 - Running really badly for me

Hey, i just got my blackberry curve about a year ago and just recently its worked really badly. when i go to check my phone it takes about 4 seconds for it to respond and turn the screen on.. i do not have it on lock. and when im texting it skips letters and goes really slowly.. i dont know how to fix this can anyone help me?

Welcome to the forums. 

 

Sorry to hear about your issue. This could be related to low memory. How much free app memory do you have? To check how much free memory is remaining have a look at this article:
