when i press the button on the left side of the phone to do voice dialling a message comes up sayin....unable to allocate memory. close other applications and try again....but i dont,to my knowledge,have anything open. is there a way of closing all applications or checking which are open.

i am new to the phone and still trying to get used to it and use it to its best but find it difficult!

Go to in Options - Status.

Check FileFree volume.

Transfer pictures, music, and other files from internal device memory to the micro-sd card.

Go to Media icon, open it, and select an icon (music, videos, pictures) and do not click on it, instead of that press menu button and select Explore.

After that navigate between device memory and memory card and transfer your files to memory card.

Also you can check Options - Advanced Options - Applications and delete unecessary applications. Select an application click on menu button and select "Delete".

Keep device memory as free as possible.

thanks for gettin back to me so quick

i have not added anything to the phone,just as its supplied. it displayed the message once before and went once i had selected 'close' on the 'browser' but i have tried this again and on other apps. i checked the memory and i have loads of space.

In this case try to do the following.

When device is ON, remove the battery, wait a minute and turn the battery back to the device.
