8900 music output

My handset works fine with earphones on calls, but won't output MUSIC through earphones or any other audio output device. Help..

Got it sorted out. turns out it was muted (speakerphone button) Played with it several times and lost track of whether it was supposed to be on or off, but it eventually revealed itself.
