9320 Curve not being recognized by Windows Vista - Vista Drivers available?

Hi

I have recently acquired a Blackberry 9320 but when I connect it to my Vista PC, the PC recognises there is new hardware but is unable to locate any drivers for it.  As a result, the Blackberry Desktop Media Application can't connect to it.  The PC & Application are perfectly happy with my older Blackberry 8530 device.

This appears to be a Vista/Driver problem as connecting the 9320 to a Windows 7 box works.  A driver is located and the Desktop Media runs perfectly well with the 9320.

The question is, is there a driver for Vista that will enable the 9320 to be 'seen' by Windows?

OK, OK, I know Vista is getting on a bit but I'm used to it.

Regards

Jon

Hello jt2954,

Please use the link below to download the latest version of the BlackBerry Desktop Software v7.1
http://ca.blackberry.com/software/desktop/desktop-pc/system-requirements.html

This will ensure the software is up to date on your computer.

Thank you

I deinstalled an reinstalled jave - then removed all Blackberyy software and installed the version suggested.  Still no go..

A Laptop running Windows 7 picks up the device no problem so it's either going to be Vista or the USB ports on the PC itself perhaps, I guess.  Can't see why it would be hardware though
