9360: Help! Stolen Phone

Hi, People and Hello Blackberry...
I had a Curve 9360 and its been stolen a month ago.. I am currently borrowing my girlfriends Blackberry..

The theif who stole my phone is currently using the blackberry.. I know this because when I send a PIN message throught to a phone without BIS.. It doesn't say "D" next to the message... However, To the phone that got stolen, it says a "D" for delivered next to the PIN message..

I have already reported the phone stolen to the police, they have evidance of the person.. They just can't identify the person

I need Blackberry to look throught the system and see who is registered to the device at the moment.

Please Help Me!!!

BlackBerry can't do that. Your mobile provider giffgaff can do so.

They may need a court order or directions from your local law enforcement.

Re: 9360: Help! Stolen Phone

How does giffgaff get involved with is in any situation... The person isn't using my giffgaff simcard... The time when the phone got stolen, I only reported the simcard stolen to giffgaff since I didn't want the phone being barred.

I don't see why giffgaff have anything to do with it. Its Blackberry Survers that phone is running off, blackberry are the phones who have all information the police need to identify the person

Re: 9360: Help! Stolen Phone

I'm still not clear of what I need to tell Giffgaff, what is it you want me to ask them to enter me for.

Sorry about this, I'm clueless, its why I've come here for help

Re: 9360: Help! Stolen Phone

This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel rarely comment on queries posted here.

Quite honestly, the police can get this done, they know how to work with the mobile providers to track stolen devices.

Galling giffgaff is your portal to contact BlackBerry.
