Greetings all, had my blackberry for 9 months and in the first 5 my trackpad coldnt press to select, no problem now only in the last two days its been rebooting randomly so i let it reboot but whenever i move the trackpad it reboots again, in other words when rebooted, any movement of trackpad causes a reboot of phone.... ANY ONE HAD ANY SIMILAR EVENTS OR KNOW ANY SOLUTION.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But, from what you describe, your issue sounds more like hardware...for which no amount of internet-distance diagnostics nor software-level repair recommendations can do any good. Only in-hand evaluation by a qualified hardware technician can give you a proper evaluation and estimate. Since you have only had it for 9 months, you should remain under standard warranty -- assuming, of course, that the seller did not override the standards (which they can do).
Good luck and let us know!

Hi, thats what i was thinking that it was something to do with hardware because the trackpad went bust but was still functional. I am under contract soo i might be able to get a replacement or be able to get it repaired charge free. And aswell the trackpad has become completley unfuctional now, not dure if i mentioned that before but occasionally it does function as if there was no automatic reboot. Also how much would it roughly cost to repair if needed?

You can narrow down the likely cause by using Safe Mode. It should only take a few minutes...but if things work, then the cause is not hardware nor OS...but 3rd party apps.
Also how much would it roughly cost to repair if needed?
I have no clue...again, only a qualified hardware technician with the device in their hands can give you a proper evaluation and estimate (if the problem truly is hardware, that is). But, if you are in warranty, why would it matter? Maybe I'm just confused...

Hi, what i did was i got the trackpad fully replaced (repairs) and now i have no problems at all with my blackberry -
I think thats the only option to be honest because the phone will keep rebooting.
