9360 not synching or charging properly

My 9360 started having problems charging properly and this has now developed into trouble synching.  it seems to be  a problem with the interface cable in the micro usb slot, as if their is a dry solder or something.  This is the second 9360 to have this problem for me.  Anyone seen anything similar?

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your device.

 

Have you tried you another USB cable? Or another USB port on your computer? 

 

When you connect the cord, do you see the charging indicator on your device?

Hi, yes, tried different chargers and cables, even tried a different battery but still same issue.  When first connected, charging symbol comes up but after a while there is almost like a sideways T on the battery symbol.  Not seen the sideways T in any of the symbol dictionaries!

 

Any other ideas?

In regard to the charging issue, is this the original battery or a replacement?

When you connect to the computer, is there any sound indicating the device is connected?

Hi, battery is the original EM1 one for the phone and is about 6 months old.  Computer indicates phone is conected then disconnects and 'hunts' for phone while phone drops in and out of connection.........

If you have tried other USB cords and ports on your computer and are still unable to connect it's advised you contact your point of sale for hardware investigation.

hello, I have also a similar problem, mine does not charge properly, it heats up pretty bad, up to 50 degrees in my battery watch. do you have any solution to this?

It's not uncommon for the device become warm whilst charging.

If you are unable to charge or feel the temperature is excessive, it's advised you contact your point of sale to further investigate.
