I am opening this discussion in order to reference all the OS versions that have been released by mobile phone carriers for the BlackBerry Curve 9360 (GSM only). The 9360 is the successor of the BlackBerry Curve 8900.
Legacy features:
- a 480x360 definition non-touchscreen screen
- a QWERTY "Curve" keyboard
- GSM
- GPS & Wi-Fi
- photo camera has flash
What's new:
- trackpad instead of trackball
- better battery, riverfall form factor
- OS7 instead of OS4/OS5
- photo camera has continuous-focus instead of auto-focus
- photo camera of 5MB instead of 3.2
- video camera : VGA definition (640x480) instead of 320x240
- 3G in addition to GSM, GPRS and EDGE
- 512MB RAM instead of 256MB

RIM publishes OS versions to carriers, and after training & Q&A, carriers publish the OS. All those OS versions are available here:

To this day, 20 OS versions were released by 198 carriers (including Jananese input) for the 9360. Those OS versions are not compatible with the 9350 (CDMA only) or with the 9370 (GSM+CDMA).
