9380 E-mail Folder

Hi Guys (curve 9380)

I would just like to check how i setup a folder exclusively for my mail, as opposed to my sms's and mm's and instant msg's all going into the 'messages' folder.

On my previous phone, they all went to 'messages' but my mail would go to an e-mail folder and my sms's and mms went to text mesg's and bbm's went to bbm app.

any help would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Evan

Re: 9380 E-mail Folder

  • Open your Messages folder.
  • Click the Menu key > Options > Inbox Management.
  • Now, choose or unchoose which messages types you want to go to your main Messages folder.
  • UNclick those message types you want to flow to their own separate icon.
  • If you don't BBMessenger chats in your main Messages folder, open BBM > Options > Miscellaneous > Uncheck Show Chats in Messages Application.

Re: 9380 E-mail Folder

Hi

Thank you very much for your response, i appreciate it!

Could you maybe answer one more thing for me? - How do i select multiple msg's (like 10 mails) that i want to delete

on the 8520 it would be shift and scroll, on the touch screen i cant seem to come right, is it still a possibility?

Kind Regards

Evan

Re: 9380 E-mail Folder

Yes. Just the same select and shift+scroll works as well as touching the first and last messages at the adme time.

Bold 9790 e-mail app

Hello from Germany,

I have a Bold 9790 and when I click the app for my e-mail account o(which is showing my e-mail adress correctly) only text messages (sms) are shown. I can´t even get access to my e-mail account anymore.

Any suggestions or help?

Thanks in advance.

Joachim
