When I hit reply to return a call, a "1" is added to the number so the call doesn't go through.  I have  to remember the number and dial as if it were a new call. Even my own number is listed with a 1 preceeding it.  I can't find a post about this.  Any ideas?    Very annoying!

Here we go:

press green key once

menu key options PHONE OPTIONS - SMART DIALING - USE 1 FOR NATIONAL DIALING

Use '1' for

OPTION NO

escape key SAVE

Great Answer!  My number still shows a 1 in front of it but that's not a big deal.   When I went to options it didn't ask for a "1".  It asked for a country code and I listed "unknown" then the "national number length" at 10 digits.  that seems to take care of it.  I consider it solved.  Thanks so much.

No my last option under Smart Dialing is "to access extensions inall other  corporations, call the # then wait for :  3 seconds. (that's the choice.)  Don't see a reference to "1"  Won't scroll any further.

what I have for France :

Country code : +33
Area Code : (empty)
National Number Length : 9

To access office extensions within my corporation; call
Number: (empty)
Wait For : 3 seconds
Extension Length : Unknown

To access extensions in all other corporations, call the number, then
Wait for: 3 seconds


you have to check the "National Number Length". It must match what you use in the US, otherwise your Blackberry will add the country code before.
