Activating a Blackberry id on a new phone

tried to activate my account on new phone without success,which means I can't access e-mails etc...I have checked my Blackberry ID and imputted info as requested.Is the activation password the same as Blackberry ID password??.

I am not familiar with any activation password. That could be an EE-specific requirement?

 

Logging in your BBID should do it.

 

Where, then, are you seeing this activation password? Are you using a Enterprise Activation link?

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "activation password", but this is the process for creating a new BB ID:

  • KB24062 How to create a BlackBerry ID

So, if you followed that procedure, and something is not working, please describe exactly what is going on. For instance, if you are typing your BB ID credentials yet they are being refused, please provide the exact and complete error message presented.

 

Again, I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "activation password", so please provide more details so that we can understand your situation.

If you are a personal user, you need to contact EE and get the Blackberry Data Plan on your SIM account.

Then, once that's is done, you will get the personal internet email setup icon.

top of screen states:acquiring service connection...then black message on screen states:Activation request failed.A service connection is unavailable.

Scroll up. Call EE and get the BlackBerry data plan.
