So about 24 hours ago my Contacts went blank. (i.e. No contacts listed)

• I have pulled the battery for reset (a couple times)
• I have checked and unchecked all the filters
• The contact information does not show for SMS
• The contact information DOES show in the call log (and I can view their complete Contacts information from there)
• Email client linked is Lotus Notes
• Not all Contacts were in the LN address book, but even those that are no longer show on the BB (And I've been able to view contact information from the call log for people not in my LN address book.)

Any help as to what I need to do would be appreciated.

One last update, when someone calls in it only shows the number, but when you look at it in the log afterwords it shows the name and you can access the Contacts information.

Do you have any content protection set?

i am facing the exact same problem, and im now wondering whether this is because of the email client linked to lotus notes. i have curve 8520 and every time i try taking a backup on the of the contacts, i am unable to because it tells me to turn off the wireless sync which also i am unable to do in my phone. Please let me know if you do find a solution to this.

Why are you unable to turn off the wireless sync?

at first i was getting the following message "not available" next to the wireless sync tab.

after deleting and undeleting Desktop Cical and Sync from the service book i started getting the option to turn wireless sync off or on. but now, i am unable to save the "off" selection.

Open your Options > Status and press the Menu key

Click on Database Sizes.

What are the numbers to the right of your Address Book Data, which looks like "123/456k"

Then you've not.followed the path I've outlined above.

ok, it shows me the following tabs(i'm listing just a few of them):
Application permissions : 557/54.4k
attachment data : 37/127.5k
attachment data-calendar : 0/0.0k
etc....

I have a feeling this problem is because of my blackberry sync to my lotus notes email.
i don't have a BES plan.
when i try to turn off the wireless sync of my address book, i am unable to do it. to save the option,that's what im not able to figure out.
