I've been using BBerry for a while. Not new.
After the last 'upgrade' to Blackberry App World I couldn't use it anymore.
When it's installed there is no icon. When removed the icon appears.
When I click on icon it directs me to download App World. And the cycle starts over again.
Curve 8530. Sprint.
v5.0.0.459
No it's not hidden. Went through the knowledge base and can't find anything relating.

Try using your BlackBerry browser to this link, and install from there.
Then, reboot the device >> With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
Now, return and look for the AppWorld icon and try it out.

Thanks for the advice, J Sanders.
Followed it exactly. Still no luck.

I am having the same problem I got this phone less than a month ago:

I downloaded app world and used it and it worked fine. Today I had an icon saying there is an update, so I updated and it said error and uninstalled app world, I keep going to www.blackberry.com/appworld and reinstalling and nothing happens it returns to the same window.
Please help!

I hear ya Erica.
Now with the new update I can't even download it. The link Blackberry sent me won't work. And I can't download it on computer because it requires MS Internet Explorer which I refuse to put on my computer.
So much fail in one little package. No way to sell software, that's for sure.

The size of your memory card shouldn't affect it.

I had the same problem today and what worked for me was cleaning my cached, brower history and reinstall.
Go to internet, options, cached i think it is and clear everything. Then go to blackberry.com/appworld and reinstall
Good Luck!
