Auto Opening Emails

Sorry if this is covered, I just can't find it!  I setup my email account and now everytime I get an email it automatically opens when I take the BlackBerry out of the holster.  Any help on how to turn that off would be great!

Thanks,

Peter

Re: Auto Opening Emails

Greetings, and welcome to the BlackBerry.com Support Forums.

Actually the emails will only open up when you remove the BB from the holster immediately after its receipt. If you will wait 15-20 seconds after you are alerted to an email, then remove from the holster, it will not open automatically.

And, there is no way to change that.

Re: Auto Opening Emails

JSanders,

Thanks for the follow up, but I leave it in the holster for about 2 minutes, and it still automatically opens.

Thanks
