BB Curve 9320 messages deleted

For the past few days  email messages disappear from my inbox. They are on my computer but no longer on my BB inbox. Any idea?

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums

 

 

First on your device check days to keep message Options on your device , Open your Message Box > Press the Menu key > Options > Message Display and Actions > Scroll down and make sure Days To Keep Message is set to Maximum or Forever.

It was already on 90 days. The messages that disappear are recent ones but not all of them. Some stay. I thought this could be a memory issue, I have 72491481Bytes of free memory. Also only some of the email disappear but not all, and I can't work out the common link (it is not me deleting them!).

Hi embastide

 

If you already set it keep it for 90 days and also only a few of your messages are deleted , then try this :

 

  • On your Homescreen of the BlackBerry , click Messages > Menu key > Options > Email Reconciliation
  • From the Message Services drop down, select the affected email account
  • Unmark or Uncheck next to Wireless Reconcile
  • Click Menu key > Save > Ok

 

Keep this setting and see if your message get deleted
