Blackberry curve 9300 connected to wifi but applications such as facebook, whatsapp not working. It was working fine before. Once I go out of wifi coverage and comes back again, it does not work. Browser is still working fine on wifi. If I reboot my BB, everything works fine.

Do you currently have an active data plan? To use BlackBerry® services over Wi-Fi® you require an active data plan, you can see what services are available here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB13368

Thanks for ur reply. I do not hv any data plan activated. Do u mean to say that even for using apps such as facebook and whatssapp over wifi I should have data plan activated. If yes, in that case, what is the point of using these apps over wifi, if u anyways need a data plan as I would be spending some money for data plan.
