BBM - can I track through it

Lost blackberry curve 8520 which doesn't have GPS so can't track it, is there any way to track it through bbm ro something similar?

They just messaged me saying they found the phone but then deleted me off of BBM and haven't re-added

Sorry, no you can't track a device via BBM.

And you can't even track it via GPS if you don't previously have some tracking application installed on it.

Well somebody found it, and bmm'd me on the phone I have now (my sister was using the curve and lost it), and then they deleted me from their contacts and haven't accepted my add so I can't find out where they/my phone is
