BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Blackberry Service very Bad-No warranty

We bougt three Balckberry Curve 9360 phones in chennai and in one Device we had display issue  (Black Spot) which is still in warranty.When I approched redington India they sent it to B'lore for further and after 11 days I got reply from them that the LCD has to be changed and wil be charged 6000Rs 'I was wondering how we get display problem even with a good Hard case and never dropped.

But iPhone service are great when they change the LCD screen even it is cracked

All warranty inquiries are looked after by the network service provider or point of sale.  Each provider has different warranty options.

Thanks for your Reply.But Blackberry have standard warranty of 18 months and I just wonder why the display is not covered under warranty.Anyways Can I escalate the issue to higher level or should I pay and get serviced.
