Banking app problem curve 9320

Hi I have got curve 9320 and have downloaded mobile banking app I am able to llog into it but after putting in all debit card details too complete registration I keep getting error message unknown error 4000 spoke to bank support and they said not a problem with app but with the phone . Can anyone help please ?? I originally posted this on 15th Dec 2012 and still haven't had any luck fixing it been on to bank tried searching on app support , just wondered if anyone else had same problems , the app worked fine on older curve 8520 no probs.

It's RBS Mobile banking app , able to download from blackberry app world , it seems to be when trying to complete registration that  is causing this unknown error

With the registration, can you try using a WiFi connection only?

I'm reading the reviews on

and others are getting that error too.

I think the vendor needs to address this.  I'm not sure why they said its the phone.

Have tried that but still get same error, the app vendor RBS keep saying its a problem with the phone but I really don't understand that , worked perfectly fine with older model of phone .

What you can do is a software reload to see if that will help:

I can't guarantee this will work though.  Maybe if there is an updated version of software for your phone, it could help.

Its a lot to do for one app, but I don't know what else to suggest.

I know the feeling.  My banking app didn't work on one of my phones so I know how frustrating this can be.  Keep us posted.   I wish I had more suggestions.

Hi Marydoll2004,

Wolf359 gave you all the possible way outs. The phone cannot be a problem! Because in that case bank would receive lots of complains from the customers. Moreover, you're not facing any other problem with your phone. The bank tech representative should check and suggest a workaround for you.
