Black Berry Curve error

Hello there,

recently my curve (8300) started restarting endlessly. You cannot stop it unless you remove the battery from the phone. I took the curve to one of the repair shops and i was told that it requires reinstalling the software (OS) however they do not have the software for the 8300 series.

Could any one assist and advise me into a solution for my curve?

Alinda, here is the latest OS version for the 8300.

 

Follow the instructions in the link exactly as written and in order as written, and you will be fine.

Thanks, i followed the instructions and KUDOS, the fone nolonger restarts.

However it is unable to pick the network. We have tried various simcards but i will not pick the network.

Is there something else i should do to the phone.
