Most of the BlackBerry poker apps I've found have all been for "Play Money".  Now I don't mind playing a few games for fun to improve my game  but I'd definitley prefer to have the option to play for real money.

I've had a look at a few poker rooms and the only one I can find so far that support real money mobile poker on a Blackberry is Bwin .  Cake poker say that they will support BlackBerry real money poker very shortly.

Came accross this article today about the possibility of Android poker apps working on the new Blackberry Playbook RIM.  Apparently, RIM are rumoured to be developing software that would allow Android Poker apps run on the Blackberry Tablet OS.  This is great news for online poker players like myself who are frustrated by the lack of gambling apps for the iPad.

Up until I read this story ( http://www.pokerroomcompare.com/androidpoker/Android_Poker_Apps_To_Run_On_New_RIM_Playbook_Blackberr... ) I must admit I was planning to buy an Android Tablet but if It can run Android Poker Apps then I'd certainly consider the new RIM Blackberry Playbook.

This year a number of poker rooms released poker apps.  Bwin released and Android and iPhone app, Terminal Poker released an iPad and Android app and Switch Poker released an iPhone app.  None had released a BlackBerry app until now.  According to BlackBerry Poker Apps mFortune have released a poker app that is compatible with BlackBerrys, iPhones and Androids.

The mFortune apps is a Texas Holdem app where you play against real people.  There are no robots.  It's a pretty good app but probably not as good as the Bwin app.

Theres still only a couple of places that you can get Poker on your BB, even on my Z10! Found a couple on this site http://www.bestpokerapps.co.uk/
