Got a Blackberry RIM 8703 on ebay and need to disable the password lock I hate having to put in password every time I try to use my phone

Options > Security > General Settings. Disable the password there.
If there is a small lock icon located there, it means you have an IT Policy on the device requiring a password, which is likely left over from the previous corporate owner of the device.

I am having the same issue as the person you posted this for and I also got mie from eBay. My issue is I have a Mac. I tried installing the desktop manager which they have for Mac but then I ran into the "enter your password for the USB device" which seems to be an IT Policy issue. I am having oe issue after another on this eBAY BB. I can also only receive SMS and do ot have the option to create an SMS but that is an entirely different thing!
