Blackberry 8520 v5.0.0681

Lost my contacts a few days ago. But everytime I reboot my phone I lose my contacts again. Is there anything I can do? The message below keeps coming up when I reboot:

Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException

Any advice you can give me would be great. Thank you.

Re: Blackberry 8520 v5.0.0681

You need to do a backup of your device data to the Desktop Software, and then wipe the device and reload the operating system.

You will need to use BBSAK or JL_Cmder to wipe the device and subsequently load the OS to the device. Follow the instructions here:
http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/How_do_I_wipe_the_BlackBerry_using_Jl_Cmder%3F
For BBSAK, here is the link: http://bbsak.org/

Re: Blackberry 8520 v5.0.0681

you can use BBsak as what Jsanders suggest, wipe handheld get the error 507, re-install OS.

or you can use JL_cmder, this is an exe file use to clean java error without re-installing or reformating your BB

How do I do that? I tried doing what Jsanders suggested but I could not get it to work. Where can I download a JL_cmder?

Michael, you're being vague.

What didn't work?

The download link for JL_cmder I posted already in this thread... scroll up and read. :smileywink:
