that was my problem yesterday, what i did is i deleted 4 recently updated apps (yahoo messenger, twitter, MSN, google talk) and after rebooting i can now edit my phone book, i noticed it the apps memory increased from 77mb to 82mb, maybe less memory on the apps cannot perform other apps on the phone. try this solution, it worked on my curve 9300

Have you cleaned your device. If not then follow this process-
Go to Optons>Security Options>Security Wipe>check boxex except Media card & then enter "blackberry" to confirm device wipe and then click on "WIPE".
Once u perform these steps, ur handset may work properly.
i would advice you to take out sim card and media card from the cell before wiping off data.

Deleted MSN dint work. Deleted Yahoo started working.![]()
Issue started only after upgrading MSN and yahoo.

I had the same problem.... the issue started after I had updated my FB, MSN, Yahoo messengers and Gtalk to the latest ones.... Uninstalling these apps will resolve the issue.

how to delete MSN Messenger? When i click on menu optin, it doesnot show delete tab for MSN.
I deleted yahoo.. but nothing happened? I am still not able to edit or add new contacts. Please help Me

You can go to options and then applications, Scroll down to MSN Messenger and hit the menu button.
You will find a delete option there.

After Posting , I reliased, I have not install MSN yet on my BB.
I have just deleted Facebook, because that is the one i updated a week back when problem started. Device is rebooting, Hope for Best! ![]()
Will Keep you Guys Posted, I Agree Problem is within Application latest updates....
