I have bought this new Curve 9220 with OS7.1 three days ago on 21 May 12 from kolkata India . Now the problem is that when I call or receive a call I hear my own voice on my phone. It becomes worse when I'm in a noisy place the noise is transmitted to my ear via my phone so I can't hear the other person's voice clearly. When i lower the call volume to 25% it still pessists in slow volume. Its very annoying.

Anybody has any solution for this echo hearing problem in Blackberry curve 9220?

My phone is defective one?

Even I have the similar issue in my 9220 but the problem is little different. when i make or recieve a call , the reciever is complaing of echo of their own voice. I am planning to take this to dealer.

i am also having the same prob.. i hear my own voice when i get to close to the phone n if im on a buzy street or wind is blowing then i can hear evrything in my earpice.

its like, u hear every thing what ur caller is suppose to hear. its really annoying.

My brother has same model and he has the same echo problem. We have contacted the retailer they told me to take the set to their shop. I think its a really big bug in this model as many of us experiencing the same issue.
Reply here if anyone get any solution to help others.

NO MAN! I just brought this model six hourts ago. It's not downloading. Echoing and hanging for no good reason.

Ohh just 6hr, brand new. Mine is one month old. No hang prob but echo in call. What do you mean by: Not downloading? Then Your's one has more serious problem. Contact your retailer.

Totally frustrated ! lots of echo problem and frequently calling button does't work. mine is 2 months old. is there any solve?

Got my bb from service centre kolkata. they have installed the new some updated version of os changed the calling keys and fascia, Now its working ok for the last 10days.
