Blackberry Curve 9360 - Touchpad not working

Hi

 

I had a problem with my phone rebooting every couple of minutes.  I followed the reinstall procedure and now the terms and conditions screen is showing but I can't move in ant direction using the touchpad.  Pressing it does select things, unlock and OK when I enter password but that's all I can do.  Just got it in July.

 

Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your trackpad on your BlackBerry® Curve™ 9360 smartphone.

 

If you hit the space bar on this message, do you eventually reach the OK button so you can dismiss this screen? 

 

Seeing as the trackpad is still acting up after the software reload completed, it would be advised you contact your point of sale for hardware investigation.

Thanks for replying.

 

Sadly spacebar doesn't do anything.  I have a problem contacted the provider, it came from T-Mobile but I had to buy myself out of the contrct at the end of July.  They are not my provider anymore.  Is there somewhere I else I can get my phone checked, it's still guarenteed.

Did you buy your device from T-Mobile?

If so, you can contact your point of sale for hardware warranty claims.

It came with a contract and I cancelled the contract in a month, bought myself out of the contract but technically I didn't buy the phone.  Do you think it would still be them, I have a feeling they'll tell me to get knotted.

 

Sorry, there is always some strange, unforeseen complication with anything I do.
