My Device: Blackberry Curve 9360

Blackberry Curve 9360 not receiving SMS text messages

My Blackberry curve 9360  is new but not and then SMS text messages wont come through now they've just stopped al together. Ive checked the firewall and thats not on so they should be coming through. I can send texts but i cant receive them. Help?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Hi, I have done this step you have said to do with no luck? What else can you do? Thanks

Well, SMS is part of your voice-level services, not anything to do with data-level services (unless you mean MMS). Consequently, you need to contact your mobile service provider (O2, according to your profile) for formal assistance.
