I been having many problems over the last week with my Blackberry Curve. It is brand new if anyone is having these problems or knows of a solution pls contact me.

Problem #1 while calls incoming phone freezes and I cannot answer or ignore. The little hour glass keeps spinning for minutes long after call ends. Also doing it when phone is in hybernation and I press a button to light it up.

Problem #2 All call logs and message logs deleted ..... doesnt show any incoming outgoing or missed calls. Also doesnt show any Messages ....inbox or outbox.

Problem #3 Blackberry messenger not showing conversations. Only shows what I write, when someone replays i can see the little face that shows i have a message but i cannot open it. I can only read the first couple of letters.

Pls if anyone can help me with these problems let me know.

HI AND WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

Why not just get a new phone? These are not normal conditions and could be an indication of a faulty unit. Why pay good money for a device you just bought, and have to fix it in the first couple of weeks.

As Bifocals stated, Return it!

Most people forget they have a 1 year warranty against mfg defects.  This includes software issues. (it does not cover physical damage)  If you can replicate this issue, show the tech at your wireless carrier store.  Even if you can't replicate it in front of them, they should replace out the device.

hey i am having the same problem with my blackberry 8320. I got it off craigslist. The phone turns off during a call and the hour glass screen comes on. I dont know what to do because i will probably not be able to give it back to the previous owner. The call log also gets deleted as you stated

Hi and welcome to the forums!

go to OPTIONS _ Status and send the numbers for file free and file total.

Then pull the battery while the phone is on, leave it out for a minute, replace and let the device

fully reboot 1-2 min.

Write down the numbers again, and try a phone call.

The phone still shuts off during a call. as stated above

When you do a battery pull and then look do you get up around 35-40mb free?
