Blackberry Desktop

My Blackberry Desktop Manager wants to access Microsoft OutLook and Outlook doesn't work on my computer (we have never been able to fix it).  I do have an email address through my internet provider and on Yahoo.  Is there some way I can change Blackberry Desktop Manager to look for something other than Outlook?

Re: Blackberry Desktop

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Plain and simple the best way is to get Outlook running, you can then synch your Yahoo contacts with Outlook, and I'm sure your ISP can do the same. The object being to get ALL the contacts together in one place to synch to BB.

What, if I might ask, is the problem with outlook?

Re: Blackberry Desktop

hello,

are you using your Blackberry with a BES (company) or BIS contract ?

Besides, you won't be able to synchronize much from the Yahoo! world to your Blackberry, except your emails. No contacts, no calendar. You have to go through a supported application like GMail or Outlook.
