When attempting to use the Blackberry app world , I received a message stating that I need to download a Blackberry ID. I received an option to download over the phone, which I started. The down load started and after about 4 hours was hung at 17. I somehow cancel and returned to the App Store screen, A few day later I attempted to get into the App store again and I received the same message, to download the Blackberry ID. When started the download it immediately came up with a screen showing Installing Blackberry Identity, 100. It has been 5 days that this screen is showing t he download at 100 and I cannot clear or go to the app world. How do I clear?

There are several potentially relevant public KBs on that...rather than trying to post links to them all here, I instead recommend you go here:
and search...perhaps on "identity update failed", or something similar. Some of the results involve an IT Policy that is blocking, others talk about APN and other configuration items to adjust, still others recommend removing the Identity app entirely and letting it start over fresh.
The right solution for you will depend on many factors...so your review of the relevant KB articles will I hope result in your finding what will work for you.

Thanks for the lead. While there was no particular KB to the freeze, I just restarted the phone. It cleared the hang and I restarted the identity download which worked
