Blackberry Messenger Not Responding

Hi, I own a Blackberry Curve 9220.

Everytime I open the blackberry messenger it would just appear colored blue in the backgroun for hours and I would just get annoyed and close it anyway. Sometimes, it would open and would say that "Setting Up" or something.

 

Help please, I do wish to use the blackberry messenger application.

To use BlackBerry Messenger we need an active BlackBerry Data Plan / BIS from our Carrier , do you have it in your account ? If not then please contact your carrier Globe to activate it in your account , it will resolve your issue with BBM. .
